Helping Each Other
As I've stumbled along learning about internet commerce, self promotion, and social networking, I have noticed the ways people help each other along the way. Now that I have this blog, I hope to have a 'blog roll' or list of blogs I frequent, along with links to web pages. There are probably more ways I can help you along with whatever it is that you do.
I would like to do posts about 'featured artists' now and again. This would include your write up and/or mine, links to your website, blog, flickr photo album -- whatever it is you'd like to promote. Perhaps I'll even interview you.
I do have high hopes to start doing some sort of pod cast or radio type thingy... very inspired by what I've seen some folks doing lately in these areas.
So if you are interested in being listed or featured, please let me know. I am open to anything even loosely art related. Writing, music, dance, theatre, performance...anything to do with arts and the environment, craftism, upcycling, health...challenge me. I can probably connect the art theme to just about anything.

Nice for you to make such a good website. How do you make the little skull guys? Do you melt something?
I use Fimo brand polymer clay. I bake it in the oven on a low temperature. Then I put 2-3 coats of protective non-yellowing varnish on it. If you want more info, just let me know!
I'm not arty in any way, lol, but I wanted to say what a great idea!
And I'm glad I popped into the comments section, because I was wondering how you made the skulls, to!
Well, your blog was certainly a recent inspiration, Mrs. B! By they way, did something fall on your head while you were asleep? You said "I'm not arty in any way" -- you were being sarcastic, no?!
Very nice. :)
LOL, no, I'm really not! I can take other people's stuff and put it together in a nice way, but I can't really make anything good myself. It doesn't really keep me from trying though ;O)
I like your monster guys - very cute! I wear your little red monster pin and the planet pin and get compliments. I like your art style and personal style. Go head and stuff!
@mrsb - i agree with ang - if you can put other people's stuff together in a nice way, I think that's one definition of art/creativity. i mean, i'm not much of a "God" guy, but what are colors and shapes and such, if not "other people's stuff?" heck, photographers just shoot what's there, but i definitely think they're creative. anyway, that's one way of looking at it. ;)
@ang - heck, yes. interview me, interview me! it sounds like fuuuuunnnnn. i'd interview you for my blog, too, what do you say? la!
Sounds like FUN! I'd love to participate.. let me know if I can help out in any way!
Blessings~
