My Colorless Heart
You have brought my
Heart joy, happiness and delight.
But no color, so it seems my heart
is colorless just since I've
known you, what's next?
Color I hope, for my heart,
Because it is blank.
By Jasmine, age 6
This poem in its handwritten form adorns a beautiful piece of art made for me by one of my young art students. She made it for me when she found out that our next series of classes was going to focus on color, so that she could give it to me on the first day of color class. My jaw sort of dropped more than a little ;) What an honor to teach the young ones :)

Priceless and beautiful...what a gift!
The creative powers of children never fail to delight me. It is indeed an honor to work with the young ones. :)
